FAQ's

What is an IV Drip?

Administering IV Drip Hydration involves delivering vitamins and medications directly into the bloodstream, presenting a procedure with minimal risk.

Does getting an IV Drip hurt?

Each individual has a unique pain tolerance, and we strive to ensure that every experience is as comfortable as possible. To enhance comfort, we may utilise a topical numbing spray. It’s common to feel a slight pinch as the needle punctures your skin for cannula insertion.

Which IV Drip is right for me?

We provide the option for full customization of your IV Drip service. To discover the ideal Drip and/or Booster Shots for your needs, simply consult with one of our friendly medical staff members.

What results can I expect?

Since everyone is unique, results may vary. Some individuals may feel more energised after their infusion, while others may not notice a physical difference immediately. However, all will benefit from the increased availability of vitamins in their system, ready for the body to absorb.

Is this always safe?

Safety is paramount in our practices. All our suppliers possess medical-grade GMP Certificates to guarantee product quality. Our staff administering treatments are all Healthcare Professionals, including NMC registered Nurses; non-medical personnel are not permitted to administer our Drips or Booster Shots. Before proceeding with any treatment, we require all customers to complete a comprehensive Medical Questionnaire, including their Medical History. We do not offer products to individuals with any contraindications to our ingredients. Pre and post-treatment medical observations are conducted for every individual receiving our Drips, and our staff will decline to administer a Drip if observations indicate an unsafe condition, directing the individual to seek medical advice from their GP. Our vitamin doses are within safe limits to prevent toxicity, and we have restrictions on the frequency of Drips to prevent potential long-term damage to veins.

How many drips can I have in a week/month/year?

We advise a maximum of 9 IV treatments within 6 months. Depending on the specific treatment, we suggest no more than 2 IV treatments per week.

Can I still take multi-vitamins alongside an IV Drip

Indeed, it’s unnecessary to duplicate the same vitamins you receive from us. For instance, if you’ve had a Vitamin B12 Booster Shot with us, there’s no need for a daily B12 supplement. Similarly, if you’ve received a Vitamin D Booster Shot, we advise discontinuing any additional Vitamin D supplements.

Can I eat before having a drip?

Yes, you can eat as normal before and after having a Drip or Booster Shot.

Do I need to have a blood test before having a drip?

While it’s not mandatory to undergo a blood test before a Drip, if you’ve already had one, we’re more than happy to review the results and recommend the most suitable Drip for you.

How often should I have a drip?

We encourage everyone to tune in to their body’s needs. On average, we suggest receiving a Drip approximately once a month.

Can I drink alcohol before/after having a drip?

We recommend drinking alcohol in moderation and keeping in mind that antioxidants are depleted more rapidly when metabolising alcohol. Therefore, we suggest refraining from alcohol consumption after your Drip to prolong the effects of the vitamins and maximise their benefits. The decision regarding an individual’s suitability for a Drip is at the discretion of our clinical staff.

Can I work out after having a drip?

Certainly, you can resume your regular daily activities following the Drip. However, we advise waiting for about an hour before engaging in any vigorous exercise.

Is IV drip therapy legal for athletes?

If you are sponsored or have any concerns, we recommend consulting with your coach, sponsor, or governing body before undergoing treatment.
